In recent years, economic activity across different sectors and industries in Argentina has shown significant variations, driven by diverse macroeconomic and cyclical factors. In 2024, the economic debate strongly revolved around the economic recession and the long-awaited recovery. In this context, understanding how key sectors such as industry, construction, commerce, and agriculture evolve is essential for a comprehensive view of the country's economic performance.
That is why at Infodash we developed a dashboard using data from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) and Datos Argentina that allows detailed monitoring of the evolution of various economic activities, with the ability to analyze monthly and year-over-year variations across more than 15 indicators (when available, seasonally adjusted variations are provided) related to agricultural, industrial, and service activities, as well as consumption and foreign trade. We recommend using the glossary available on the first page of the dashboard for more detail on what each indicator includes.
It is important to note that each indicator has a specific coverage period depending on data availability, allowing analysis of historical series that vary in scope. Additionally, a key strength of this dashboard is its constant updates, as it refreshes automatically as new data is published, enabling precise and real-time monitoring of economic activity.
The dashboard facilitates analysis from different perspectives, with filter options that allow adjusting the level of aggregation to observe short- or long-term trends in each activity. With this tool, at Infodash we aim to offer a clear, accessible, and constantly updated visualization of Argentina's main economic activity indicators.
